The results are in, and we at Zendrive couldn’t be prouder to have been named the best tech startup at the 2017 Tech In Motion Awards in San Francisco.

Zendrive joins past Timmy winners Instacart, LearnVest, Venmo, Trip Advisor, Gilt and Casper in taking home this honor. Being added to their ranks is specially meaningful to us, as each of those innovative companies started with an idea: to disrupt, to evolve, to set a new benchmark, for their respective industries.

In our case, we are thrilled to be able to share with the world our mission to make the streets safer places to drive, walk and bike using the most powerful analytics and technology.

Recently, we have put that mission into action. Our School Safety Snapshot tool put a spotlight on safe and unsafe driving in school zones across the nation. What’s most exciting is seeing that all 50 states have taken the tool we have provided, and have made it a part of their collective awareness. They’re using it to help make cities, towns and neighborhoods less dangerous for children.

We were also included in a new white paper published by Milliman, which concluded that Zendrive’s technology has made the most profound positive impact on enabling safer driving experiences, six times more effective than the industry standard.

Needless to say, we’ve been busy!

We believe a company is only as strong as the teams, the people, the individual talents who contribute to turning that mission into actions, and those actions into game-changing solutions. So to us, receiving the award for best tech startup is about more than our technology. It’s about our culture, our constant pursuit to change the world for the better, and the spectacular individuals who are collaborating on this journey.
